Gateway Hills Golf Course, situated at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas, is an 18-hole military golf facility established in 1968 by Finger Dye Spann. Spanning 200 acres, the course offers dramatic elevation changes with panoramic views of San Antonio. The layout stretches 6,900 yards from the back tees and features numerous strategically placed bunkers amid a landscape populated by oak and mesquite trees. Golfers can take advantage of comprehensive practice facilities, including a driving range, golf school, indoor practice area, and teaching professional services. Walking is permitted on this unique military course that provides a challenging golfing experience within the Lackland AFB grounds.
