The GolfN app has been out for just over a year now, and golfers all over the world are still reeling that yes, it's possible to earn golf gear and experiences just by using the app for everyday on- and off-course activities.
No, that’s not a misprint. Do golf activities like play, spectate, or even shop, and you’ll earn rewards for golf equipment in the GolfN Pro Shop. Everything from Srixon balls to Miura iron sets, Cobra drivers, and L.A.B. putters. The Pro Shop has 300+ items and grows every week.
Haven’t checked in on the GolfN app in a while? There are more ways to earn than ever before (and spoiler: we’re not done). Here's a rundown of all the ways you can earn (so far…).
This is the easiest and most popular way to earn in the GolfN app. After all, who doesn't like playing more golf? It's simple: every time you go to the course, open the GolfN app, select your course, and hit "tee off." You can actively use the app's GPS and scoring - or you can just leave it in the bag - and the app will verify your location on the holes you played. Then you get points. It's that simple.
The number of points you get depends on the level of membership you get or the cards you spin for.
What if you can't play golf because it's raining, or it's winter, or you just don't have time? Don't worry, you can earn on that too. The Daily Grind was built to reward your 24/7 golf habit, wherever that may be. You can check in and complete challenges at driving ranges, pro shops, simulators, and even mini golf. Earn points for doing so, and members earn multipliers for their Daily Grind activity.
There's nothing like this on any other golf app. Each day, you get a free spin on the Press Your Luck board. You can win anything from golf balls to clubs, memorabilia and even more points for items in the pro shop.
Wherever you land wins. Don't miss a day.

Golf is better with friends, and it's in your best interest to get all your golf buddies on GolfN. Each friend you refer, you'll earn free Press Your Luck spins and points. The more they play, the more you earn. Then you can play together and earn "Camaraderie" multipliers. Be the guy in the buddies chat with all the alpha. Visit the Referral Center.
Are you planning to go to a pro golf tournament as a spectator? You can stack points that way by checking in when you arrive via GolfN'Gage. Then, complete several on-course challenges, like posting photos, and you’ll earn rewards from outside the ropes.
Up to 250 points await just by signing up for the GolfN app and completing your profile, including filling out your bag details.
GolfN is being built with the community in mind every step of the way. In fact, GolfN will reward users with point bonuses just by submitting bugs or feature requests. If you see something, use the feedback button in the app and let us know. The team regularly reviews the submissions and rewards users with points.
You're going to buy more balls, gloves, or grips anyway. If you do it on the GolfN Pro Shop, you'll earn 5% in points back. Get a new set of irons or a driver, and you'll earn enough points back to get a box of balls or possibly more. And don't worry, you'll get your credit card points too.

There are tons of websites where you can review your experience of a golf course online these days - whether it's golf-specific like GolfPass or behemoths like Google or Yelp. But only one will actually reward you for the trouble. You can earn bonus points after you play by leaving a review - and additional points if you leave photos.
Better yet - only GolfN has first-party verified reviews. You can't write a review if you didn't play the course, and you only have 24 hours to do it - so you know they will be accurate and authentic.
Lastly, while it will take a bit of chance to earn something, but GolfN sweepstakes are ongoing and free to enter. Many of GolfN's winners have won with far less than a 1% chance. If you win or earn tickets, you can drop them into any of the sweepstakes to increase your odds of winning.
You could win anything from a box of Srixon balls to monthly memberships to epic experiences.
That's it (for now!). There are always new ways to earn in the GolfN app. You can use my promo code 'btuck' to get half off your first month of a Silver upgraded membership.
